You like jogging but are bored to run on streets and in the flat terrain? Then you should absolutely try out trailrunning in South Tyrol.

The Running Park Alpe di Siusi offers 20 trails totalling 180 km, in a variety of lengths and difficulties, inspire you to get a spot of training in. Eight trails are on the Alpe di Siusi at an altitude of between 1,800 and 2,300 m, and 12 are at an altitude of between 900 and 1,100 m. Due to the varying altitudes, the running season in the Alpe di Siusi carries on right through from April to November. Even for beginners, there is the right route. It goes over lovely alpine meadows and through fragrant forests, mountain streams and on outlying paths in front of great scenery from our mountain , the Dolomites.

The Dolomites have become the "Mecca" of Trailrunning. Numerous competitions attract runners from far away.  Many hotel guests travel specially for these unusual competitions, of which the Alpe di Siusi Half Marathon is the best known. This well-known competition in the trail running in South Tyrol leads over 21 km 601 m difference in altitude through a dreamlike landscape of the Dolomites - the perfect fusion of sports performance and enjoyment of nature.
